1.  About Above 50/62, Inc.

Above 50/62, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, educating, supporting, and advocating for adults aged 50 and older through programs, resources, community engagement, educational opportunities, health and wellness initiatives, workforce development, and related charitable activities.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to participate in our programs, register for events, make donations, or use our services unless otherwise permitted by law or accompanied by a parent, guardian, or authorized representative.

Certain programs may have additional eligibility requirements which will be disclosed at the time of registration.

 

3. Membership

If membership opportunities are offered by Above 50/62, Inc., members agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.

  • Conduct themselves respectfully toward staff, volunteers, sponsors, and fellow members.

  • Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.

  • Above 50/62, Inc. reserves the right to suspend, revoke, or terminate membership for violations of these Terms or behavior deemed harmful to the organization or its participants.

 

 4. Programs, Workshops, and Events

Participation in workshops, conferences, seminars, webinars, training sessions, support groups, community events, and other activities may require registration.

By registering, participants agree to:

  • Follow all event guidelines and instructions.

  • Behave respectfully and professionally.

  • Refrain from harassment, discrimination, disruptive conduct, or illegal activities.

 

Above 50/62, Inc. reserves the right to deny admission or remove any participant without refund if their conduct negatively impacts the safety, experience, or well-being of others.

 

5. Fees and Payments

Certain programs, events, memberships, merchandise, products, or services may require payment.

6. Donation Policy

Above 50/62, Inc. gratefully accepts charitable contributions to support its mission, programs, services, educational initiatives, community outreach efforts, advocacy activities, and organizational operations.

Tax-Deductible Contributions

Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors are encouraged to consult their tax advisor regarding the tax treatment of their contributions.

 

Voluntary Contributions

Donation Processing

By making a donation, you represent that:

  • The donated funds are legally yours to contribute.

Recurring Donations

If you enroll in a recurring donation program, you authorize Above 50/62, Inc. to automatically charge your selected payment method according to your chosen donation schedule.

Recurring donations may be modified or canceled at any time by contacting the organization. Cancellation requests should be submitted at least five (5) business days before the next scheduled payment.

Donation Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable.

Refund requests may be considered in cases involving:

  • Duplicate transactions

  • Unauthorized transactions

  • Processing errors

  • Technical errors

Refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the donation date and are subject to review and approval by Above 50/62, Inc.

 Restricted Donations

Donors may designate contributions for a specific purpose. If that purpose becomes unavailable, fully funded, or impractical, Above 50/62, Inc. may redirect the donation to a substantially similar purpose that supports the organization's mission.

7. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Registration fees are non-refundable within seven (7) days of an event.

  • No refunds will be issued after an event has occurred.

  • Administrative and processing fees may be non-refundable.

Exceptions may be granted at the sole discretion of Above 50/62, Inc.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, trademarks, logos, branding, publications, educational resources, graphics, videos, training materials, website content, and other intellectual property are owned by Above 50/62, Inc. or used with permission.

  • Sell

  • Distribute

  • Create derivative works without prior written authorization.

 

 

9. User-Generated Content

By submitting testimonials, comments, photos, videos, stories, reviews, or other content to Above 50/62, Inc., you grant the organization a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and promote such content for organizational purposes.

You affirm that you own or have permission to submit the content.

 

10. Photography and Media Release

By attending organizational events or participating in programs, you acknowledge that photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings may be taken.

  • Marketing campaigns

  • Fundraising materials without compensation unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Nothing provided by the organization constitutes:
